My name is Ron Kirby. I am trying to gather all the data and background information on "X" & "Q" model Speedline Wheels. Please see my next post to you, as I have started some threads on Pelican in order to collect as much accurate data (background info on these Porsche 911 racing wheels. I was informed that you race a Porsche with these wheels back in the day. Any help you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.

PS: I will be sending the links to you shortly.

I met you & your wife at a PCA maverick dinner-a while back. That's when I mentioned that I knew your brother Glen from the Ft. Worth QB's. Our hangar is researching information about Glen for an article about his aviation career. I am hoping you could provide some information concerning Glen. Please contact me if your interested.

Hi Walt, I read some interesting info you wrote on the preload specs for a 915 diff. Do you have the same onfo. for a 1970 911 5 speed diff? Thanks Scott

    hi walt,
I read the thread on the 2.8 short stroke and you mention an adapter that allows the SC case to accept the 66mm crank. Would you know the name of the person or company that makes such an adapter.
    best regards,

About Me

  • About Walt Fricke
Bought my first 911 in 1984. Still have it, still my daily driver, but now a full stock class SC race car with door bars and a removeable steering wheel so I can get in and out with a fixed race seat.
    Boulder, Colorado
Other than racing and fixing my Porsches, I sail some, ski some, and used to climb and rescue people off of mountains, patrol ski areas, and generally get out. Along the way I built the house I live in. Should have made a larger garage..
