Hi Bill, thanks for your interest regarding the crankshaft I had for sale on eBay. Due to the short duration of that sale time there wasn't any way I could have had the crank checked for straightness. If you are still interested I can have it checked and have the info on a report.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks, J.R.

Hi Techweenie, are the door pockets still available? I am interested in buying the pair but I do live in New Zealand so the postage might be prohibitive. Do you have a (best) price for the pair shipped to New Zealand?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers, Neil

    Hello there.
Sorry for this random msg. You of course don't have to get in the process of replying, as I am searching for free advice from far away
I am actually writing from the small island of Cyprus. Used to be in your areas(San Diego) for 5 years where I bought my first P (81 SC which I brought and restored here)
The reason I am writing is because I am in the process of buying a 72T that has a 73 engine. It is actually in a good condition but still needs restoration. There is minimal rust in specific areas, but over all condition is not bad.
I saw one of your messages talking about a 72T and it got me worried when you mentioned that if the engine is not correct it is a real value hit. I apologia ever my ignorance. Did you mention this for a specific reason for the specific model, or is that part of the common value talk regarding matching numbers and values ?
Anything lose you suggest checking befor e buying?
Any comments appreciated (it's like a donation .
