I'm hoping that you can help me. I am the current owner of the car that Murph329 mentioned below and I just wanted to follow up on the process of having a thread deleted: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/members/3229-with-37831.html
As Chris mentioned, we would like to have this thread (all three posts) removed: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/747387-1976-porsche-911-935-dp-slantnose-24-000-a.html Is there another admin or moderator I should reach out to for help?
Please let me know if you need any additional information from me or Chris. Many thanks!
All the best,
Hi there , I own this car and this is the 2nd time someone tried to sell my car on the internet, they got my vin from the add here. Please remove the vin number for this old add of my car
svaldez screwball postings/ parts offerings
Please review his offers for sale and the subsequent loss of bandwidth wasting everyone's time and causing rancor .
He should be banned for life ! No adherence to the Pelican policy on sales offerings
Black993, I am trying to edit an add I posted last year as the car has sold however, I'm not able to edit my original post. Is it possible that you can remove the asking price from this add? My thanks for your help.
Hi I created a post attempting to sell my Fikse Wheels, I posted them few hours ago and I still have to see them on the forums. Once I finished my ad, I hit the post message button, it came back with a message saying that my posting will be available once a moderator has approved it. Can you please tell me what is going on with my posting and if I should repost or just wait???
I would like to delete a classified ad I have listed here: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/730977-glockler-eigenbau-special-45k-trade-997-a.html
For some reason I have no options to edit or delete the ad. Could you delete it or give me the access to edit it?
PART 2 (cont.)
I was contacted today by the buyer who has essentially demanded all of his money back. He claimed that I misrepresented the item and has made improper accusations and threats. I do not believe that the item was misrepresented and feel that if he had any doubts about the specific condition of this bent part that he ask. The only thing that he did ask me is if I would take less money for it (which I did)!
In short: I don't believe that I should spend another minute of my time accommodating him for his remorse. With this choice, I sure hope that he is not permitted to slander me based on his bad choice. I genuinely hope that i as mediator you are able to monitor the badness that he will more than likely dish out toward. It has already begun with his PM's to me.
I value this site and hope that pkabush is not allowed to slander me to shame.
Thanks for your time.
Mr. Black 993,
My name is Mike and I am relatively new to the Pelican site. I am in the midst of a 911 restoration and this site has just been so helpful with this project I have undertaken.
In addition to seeking technical advice, I have bought and sold a few items as well. I recently sold several of my used/unwanted parts from this project. That has also worked well for buyer and seller in that rather that toss the parts, the parts find homes at a fraction of the price. I think a win/ win.
All was great until user pkabush purchased a 40 year old rear panel that was defined as a part that "needed straightening". I also photographed the bare metal side in order to expose the real condition of the part and the straightening that was needed. The part sold for whopping $60.
