Sir, you posted a pic of some fab etched leather recaro seats w/ pasha type finish on the inserts. These are the same type of seats I have in my 1982 911 SC, but I'm not sure that they are original. Any idea which model these might have come from to help me with ordering spares?

If you could email response that would be great.

    Many Thanks,

Hello, I asked a question on the forum regarding the white wire from the a/c knob and where it gets inserted after it goes through the firewall. One of the members mentioned that you have a picture of where it gets inserted. Can you tell me or post a link to this message as I can't seem to locate it. thanks, Scott

Hate to impose. I have been on this great treasure hunt lately on getting my AC running. From ACKits to Griffiths, hose replacement to the cost of 5-inch wide vices for the crimper, its been crazy!! I have a few options to repair my hose, but I do not have a vice that opens to 5-inches to accomodate the crimper. I can (1) buy one (about $70) at Lowes borrow your crimper and replace the fitting, (2) buy barrier hose and two fittings all from ACkits and hope that you have a 5-inch vice where I can intrude for ten minutes and crimp on new fititngs or 3) have Autokool make up a new hose with fittings for a hefty sum. I know you sent me an email but I could'nt retrieve it at work. Can you please contact me at my home email address: I would be more then pleased to compensate you for any help on this. Simply, can I use your vice and crimper for a few moments? Heck, toss in the Carrera for a weekend too!!!! The AC must be lovely, from what you describe.
