Hello. Surprises me about the tranny. I never had an issue with that. But good luck with it this (2014) summer.

Hi! I just saw your post on the Targa, and wanted to let you know that I just purchased the car from Bruce, and am enjoying the nice summer evenings. The engine is still strong with 131,000 miles on the clock. First gear synchro is shot, but I'll deal with that when it's time to do the clutch. I've been a member of PCA since 1974, so I'll try to take good care of her! George

Bruce, your car looks great. Are there any rust problems? Also, do you have the original wheels and door panels? Tnx. Michael

    Hi Ed,

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. It's been a pretty rough summer with dealing with some family health issues.

I repainted one half of the car, which was quite a project. I also refinished the wheels, including hand painting the Porsche crests on the hubs.

Have been driving it all summer, including a jaunt up to Madison last weekend to see my daughter who is attending school up there. As you noted, it had a strong engine and it continues to go with almost no oil usage.

I'll send photos when I get a chance. Do you still have your P-car?

    Hi Ed,

It has been almost 3 years since I bought the 911 from you. My how time flies. Have put about 22+K on it since then and it is still going strong. Each year I do another project: last year it was rebuilding the AC system. This year, I will probably be taking care of some body work and will do a partial respray

Have you bought any 911s recently?

I hope this email finds you doing well.
