I ran into your post in this board:

Disconnecting the electronic pedal from the ECU and forging the pedal signal - that is exactly what Throttle Booster (also called Throttle Controller) does. Those units amplify pedal signal in order to fool ECU and get better throttle response. They don't eliminate the pedal per say, but the signal to ECU now goes from the third party controller, not from the pedal.
There is a number of products like this in the market. Search the web for Weapon-R, Blitz, PedalBox, SprintBooster.
The goal of these devices is to eliminate throttle lag, or like you said in your post: "making me feel like I'm piloting a fighter jet, rather than driving a car".
Did you come across of anyone using the Arduino to eliminate DBW throttle lag?
    Thank you.

Hello Wild man, Thats for the advise for the a/c add on on my 924, but do I needed to stick with an 924 or 924S parts or can I use a 944 a/c system and all of the needed parts? Are they the same? or should I stick to 924's only? Thanks for your help.

They were supposed to arrive yesterday (monday). But with all of the holiday mail, I suppose they could be late. Let me know if they do or do not arrive by the next day or so. They were shipped in a reinforced padded manila mailer, via USPS priority mail. I'm not sure if any of the #'s on the reciept is the tracking#, but here they are:

178159998 (the first 5 digits of that # are MY zip code)
4134870815 -0098 (that is exactly the way that line appears)
    1000201307625 (that is the "bill#")

You don't need to bother, as I just tried all of them, and none come up as a valid tracking#. But with USPS, the only update on the status of the package's tracking# comes when it gets delivered, anyways.

The package went out on 12/23/10@12:17:50 PM. If you don't see it today, I'm sure you will see it in the next day or 2. If not, let me know. The cleaning/flow sheet is not in the package. But rest assured, I DO have it, and I will find/send it, shortly.

Could you send me a pic. of the speedo. I'm no expert (far from it) but is this the same as the 1st gen 944 (pre 85.5) yellow digits?

I saw your chip for sale, I'm very interested. Is it a 24 pin or 28 pin? And do you have to solder it in, or does it plug in? Thanks.
