    Thanks for the feedback on CP. I did not know they even did Porsche pistons, not in the catalog. My engine shop friend loves them too.

    As for cams I went wide for a track car, the heads flow very well enough to spint the motor to 8800 RPM but my wallet knows RPM=$$$$$. I spoke with David Vizard about the head flow situation and used his cam selection program to pick the cam. It was very good on all the other cam ideas so we shall see. The goal is 300 HP.

    Hello Dave,

    I have opted to stick with stock pistons. I found a stock set with 12k miles for $800.

    I can't say enough good things about CP. They are light years better than JE. They really have a good handle on pistons for the air cooled motors.

    Smart more on the wider lobe centers. It really makes for a better powerband on a street car.
