One other observation I've had with the airbox covers is that a good portion of filter is covered by the inlet port horn. When you remove the original filters, they are clean in this area and this surface area seems to be obstructed. I often cut away that part of the plastic so the filter can draw from more surface area. Not sure if this has any measurable effect but seems more efficient in theory.

Hello, I've always found with the Dansk mufflers having larger volume canisters the tone is on the lower frequency end of the spectrum unlike other smaller, raspy brands. With the 100 cell cats I've noticed there is a higher pitch tone released as compared to the original cats but I haven't consider this any sort of annoying resonate. Maybe the easy fix could be to replace the motor sound package air box cover with a standard one first. That may suppress the sound a bit enough to your liking. If this is still bothering you probably the most effective solution would be to fit the original mufflers in place. Most of the freed up power is at the catalysts anyhow.

Hope this is helpful. I'm not aways active on the forum so give me an email if you want too.

hi, i saw that you have a lot of experience with dansk.
i have dansk mufflers + 100cell sportkat now under my 1996 porsche.
and i have a drilled airbox cover
now it does resonate a lot between 2200 and 2900 rpm.
do you have a solution for this ?
