Awesome thanks for getting back to me. Im going ls1 but unsure what route to take mounting wise as the cradle is expensive as I'm in australia and the box I'm using is a little shorter being subaru and the cradle might not work with my set up as it will move forward 2". do you have any pics of your plate install and what do you prefer?

dave, i used a canton products overflow tank and a 15 psi radiator cap. i used a one quart capacity overflow tank with vent and with the sight tubing on the side to be able to see the coolant level. i used a bit larger tank to provide plenty of overflow capacity. i use the front mounted radiator with two cooling fans pulling thriugh the radiator rather than pushing...where is your radiator located? larry

Hi lin, my name is david mendez i am in cali, i have seen the sbc converstion you did on your 71. a work of art!!! i have just installed a 1969 327 sbc in my 74 targa. i would like to know if you can help me out with the cooling side of the system with pictures and size info. right now i have two 2500cfm fans mounted to the top of the radiator blowing down thru, the water lines are 1 1/4'' from pump to radiator and 1'' from radiator to manifold, as of right now i do not have an expansion tank or an over flow tank and am wondering witch one to get, when i run the motor the water heats up and starts to expand running out of the radiator cap. i would like it run at 180 temp, anyway any help or advise you can give will be greatly appreciated. thanks dave
