Tip when fitting new belt onto an R53.
Fit it to the tensioner pulley last and then turn the crankshaft pulley round to allow the belt to fully fit onto the tensioner pulley....

Thanks for the feedback. With the belt tensioner retracted, you should install the belt onto all the pulleys before rotating the engine.
