04' John Cooper Works Edition

I just picked up a 2004 Mini Cooper S that is loaded with John Cooper Works items. The only thing is it has no limited edition badge between the seats I saw a supposedly rare 04 JCW edition on ebay with limited production numbers. Does anyone know about these supercharged editions. Thanks.

Google revealed a few pages on this option package on my car. It was a $5000.00 option installed at the dealer(?), but a limited edition car was produced from Mini that carried the plaque under the handbrake. My car corners so well, and pulls so hard I don't care where it was built! Just glad it was.
