Hey Nick, Great Guide. I am planning to go to a mechanic for doing this. The only worry i have got that i bought the fuel filter kit from normal car parts shop and not from a dealer directly. Its same as yours called Vaico. Do you recommend me to use this or get a new one from dealer directly.
I am worried that after going all through that and if it doesnt work right i will have to get one again from dealer and go through all of the process again. What do you suggest? Is VAICO a reliable brand? If i used VAICO how long after would i need to change. Kindly advise. Thanks in Advance. Regards.

The Vaico filter will be fine. Consider it a factory equivalent. You would want to change it at the same interval as the MINI filter.
