i have witnessed 2 seperate days with rain that an unpleasant smell like something burnd from the front of the car, and the second day as i was crusing the steering wheel became heavyer and the standard noise was not as loud as it should be! could this be electrical? ive changed the pump once so its not the early ones

A burning smell could be electrical. I would stop using the vehicle until you can pinpoint the source of the odor. Could be the power steering pump.
