Finally got it working!!!
Are you are still waiting/searching for a way for your Iphone5s/6/6+ to function with an older Mini Cooper (i.e 2013 R60 JCW Countryman ALL4) with a Mini Connected option with the arm rest located Snap IN Adapter? After I updated the center armrest universal snap in adapter (84 21 2 365 786) with lightning cable dongle (61 12 2 365 986), Apps appears to be functional EXCEPT there is NO AUDIO output. After some lengthy process of elimination, It came down to discovering MEDIA module for USB2 parameter needs to be updated and changed from ANALOG to DIGITAL. The solution is so simple I cannot believe BMW/Mini have not yet addressed this issue to date. Tools required: compatible KCAN to usb >>>to connect your Laptop with the OBD2 under the dash (approx. $90 - $100 USD) NCSExpert >>>BMW service App to Read and to Patch and apply the adds/changes Windows OS>>>Laptop to run the App (MAC users can use Parallels or VM) WARNING: You can easily "BRICK" your car if you erase and apply the wrong file!!! If you are feeling brave, code it yourself...otherwise... My suggestion is to contact an experienced BMW/Mini "coder" to read your settings and apply the USB2 patch in under 2 minutes...Spotify/AmazonMusic/Pandora/TuneInRadio/WebRadio are all fully functional again...Hope that helps. Allen
