My 2005 MCS slipped out of 6th gear into neutral and now wont go into any gear. Shifter moves fine through at the gears and clutch pedal feels normal, but transmission wont engage. Just changed cv axles last week and car has been running beautifully.

Check if the cables are moving the shift levers at the trans. If so, check that an axle hasn't popped out of the trans.
