Hello. I cannot figure out how to pull the plastic clip out fig 5. It appears to be threaded in but I cannot unscrew it anticlockwise since it hits the valve cover. How do I "Pull the clip up and off of the mounting stud"?

It has to be pulled straight up. It has serrated teeth that grab the stud threads.
