Odd squeaking sound from right front

I have an 04 Cooper s with the JCWorks package. Its just a second car that I'm only drive a few times a year. I fire it up and run it around the block a few times every couple of months. But when I started it up this time it had a loud squeaking sound when turning the wheel. Not your typical power steering squeal, but similar. I understand these cars have electric power steering. Can someone tell me whats up?
