2002 mini cooper-s hardtop:1st gear was getting hard to get in and I changed the clutch slave and bleed the system and brakes. Now all gears go in but I need to push them a little. No scratch noises but the clutch feels good but picks up really low.Do you have any opinion about it?Thanks for your time and help.

Really low, may be air in system still. I would try bleeding it again.

When bleeding the system maybe look into a power bleeder. Makes the process much easier.
