Replaced alternator , belt tight but battery

Could be low current or not the voltage the DME is requesting.

So What is the Voltage the computer wants to see. Removed the alternator to test, but if
tests ok could the battery be marginal and cause the less than desirable current or is this a fault/short somewhere else. |
Removed new alternator bench tested 8v ..
.. chuncked that now have a. New new one Any issue that might have fried stock one and Replacement alt so I don't install third and screw It up . Original only put out 11v , replacement 8v is second one a bad build and not a elec. Issue Don't see any blatently bad wiring . Any ideas? |
