My 2006 Mini seems to be stuck in 1st gear. Can't go over 20 mph, I heard that there's an additive that you put in under the battery. After you take apart the battery assembly. This additive should fix the problem, Someone refereed to it as being stuck in limp mode. Ever hear of this issue?? Pls Help!!

I too have not heard of this. Do you have a check engine light on or any other symptoms other than not being able to shift out of 1st gear? Manual or automatic transmission?
