Have a 2013 R56 Cooper S, 6 speed Manual. Where do I find Which transmission I have, the GS6-55 BG or the 58 BG. Where is it stamped on the trans, or can it be found through the VIN? I would like to go to Red Line in my Mini if possibleworked great for my E46 manual trans. Preventative maintenance is worth every penny.

VIn may show what it had. For an instant response, give our parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. They can figure out what part or repair kit you need.

Your '13 R56 S should have the GS6-53 BG transmission. According to the Red Line application guide, I do not believe Red Line makes a fluid for your transmission. However, you may be able to give them a call to see if there is something they may offer that will work.
