Hello, after removal of the tired old supercharger because it is making noise-is it possible to rebuild the unit and re-install? If so, what is recommended to be replaced?

No, you can send it it to a rebuilder. But no part kits I know of are available.

Only parts available are as you see below:
![]() There are individuals that do re-builds. Do a Google search for R53 supercharger rebuilds and something should come up. Otherwise, you'll want to get a used unit from a place like Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market or get a new unit from us here: Mini Cooper & Cooper S (R50/R52/R53) - Turbos & SuperChargers - Page 1 |
