Hi guys I have a 2005 R53 mini cooper supercharge so the Satnav burned out had it fixed but when I drove the car last week the same thing happen again there was white smoke coming from the satnav. My Husband says he thinks that I keep my foot to log on the clutch I don't think that could be the problem. I am not use to the car and drive it very seldom but when ever my husband drive it this does not happen
The mechanic check very thing and fixed all the loose wires
I am at my worse en so t seems that I cant drive my own car please any idea what can be wrong.

I would assume there is a short in the system. I would inspect the wiring harness for signs of rubbing or wear.
