Welcome to the Pelican community, kbracer.

These MINI's tend to exhibit all sorts of weird electrical gremlins when a battery is on its way out or bad. A few suggestions:

Plug into your DME and check for any fault codes in all modules. I'd recommend testing your battery. If it reads 12 volts or lower, it could be a faulty battery. I've seen bad batteries at 12.2 volts as well. These are the first places to start before replacing parts. Check out our battery tech article for assistance and info on testing: MINI Cooper Battery Replacement and Battery Tender Installation (R50/R52/R53 2001-2006) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article.

I'd start here before we possibly turn our attention to the BCM or other areas. Let me know what you find out.

You're welcome. Definitely report back and let me know if the issue starts again and what your battery reads.
