Pulled codes P1338, P0128, and P1297....rough idle, occasional stalling....and decreased performance.

You have three separate system codes. Address each one. I would pick one that seems easier for you to diagnose, then move on from there.
You can test the cam sensor signal to the DME, look for a switching voltage as the engine turns over. The thermostat code is likely a thermostat. The boost code could be a faulty turbo or a faulty wastegate actuator. P0128 - Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temperature Blow Thermostat P1297 - Boost Pressure ... What year and model MINI do you have?
P1338 0x296A Camshaft Position Sensor Rationality Check (Inlet - Outlet) P1338 0x2DA0 Intake camshaft: Angular offset to crankshaft is outside tolerance range P1297 0x2885 Boost Pressure Control Boost Pressure Too Low P0128 0x2F07 Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temperature Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature) P0128 0x348A Program map thermostat: Sticking in open position Depending on what MINI FC code is associated with the 2 P codes above, these are what they read via the Bentley Manual. For P1338, if replacing the sensor does nothing your engine timing could be off. I'd possibly also check your VANOS, but I'd think you'd have a VANOS code as well. For P0128, go into your DME and check to see if your MINI is warming up properly. The normal temperature for the MINI is around 220F. If it's not getting to that when it's fully warmed up, I'd think you need to replace your thermostat, which comes with a new CTS. I'd also check the vacuum lines to wastegate/boost actuator. You could also have a faulty wastegate, in which you'd have to replace the whole turbo.
