I need to replace my battery, but I can't tell if mine's an AGM or lead acid battery. I've tried googling around and there isn't anything specific.
I've attached a photo, and was wondering if you can tell from the picture if it's an AGM or lead acid. ![]() __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: MINI Cooper R56 Battery and Connection Notes Replacement (2007-2011) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article |

Yours looks like like lead acid. To be sure, Give The Pelican Parts parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. They can figure out what part or repair kit you need.

61217610291 is the part number, but Exide doesn't even list that number on their site. Give that part number including your vin to one of our parts specialist and they can get you the correct replacement battery.
