Nick..do the psp has any thing to do with the computer,a machanic say to me that if the psp is change need to reprogram the computer in order to read the motor and the fan, is that true?..!

What year vehicle? On R50, no programming needed.

The first gen MINI does not require any programming of any sort. However, the R56 system is different from the first gen as there is no hydraulic system and it has an electrical assist rack. The power steering rack comes with an integrated motor and does not require programming with a new unit. It may require programming with a used unit. Let me know what MINI you have and I can help you find a replacement if needed.
