How Many Miles Are On Your MINI?

Our in-house R53 has been well kept for since day one, so the mileage does not reflect its year. We are around 50k on this MINI Cooper S, no engine replacement - all original.

Post up yours below with how many miles are on the chassis and if you've ever had any major engine work done.

Bulletproof MINIs

This is Alice I and Alice II. Both are '05 R53s and built only a couple weeks apart by VIN. I took #1 to 329,000 miles before picking up #2 which is at 160,000 this week. Both have gotten new solid harmonic dampeners and alternators while #1 also got a new clutch at 200,000 since the throwout bearing gave up, new wheel bearing, LCA bushings, fuel pump, several idler pulleys, power steering pump (after several clean-outs that added 100,000 miles), O2 sensors, slave cylinder, thermostat, and Koni shocks as well as too many tires to count. She also got a new valve spring when an over-rev broke one. #1 got Mobil 1 but #2 is getting Royal Purple to compare cam wear. Both still run strong.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1500910177.jpg
