My 2010 Cooper S is leaking oil, I believe it if from the valve cover, it is leaking on to the muffler making it burn and smell awful, also the oil is collecting on top of the transmission. Im replacing the head cover and seals. I noticed that the previous owner deleted the air breather hose at the right rear of the valve cover, same as image #4. Do I need to get a new hose and install it or it is not necessary? The hose goes from the valve cover to the intake manifold.

Yes, I would replace the missing hose. It may causing an over-pressure in the crankcase. Causing seals to leak. Give The Pelican Parts parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. They can figure out what part or repair kit you need.
