Question on VANOS Solenoid Replacing

Hi -

I have a 2008 Mini Cooper, base model. Error P0013 keeps appearing for camshaft position sensor - exhaust bank 1. I replaced the sensor and cleaned the contacts on the plug. Wiring looks good from what I can tell. After cleaning the contacts the CEL went off for 1 trip but came right back on at the start of the next trip. What would be the next suggested step?
