Looking at non runner Base Mini 2003
 

Hello all,
I'm looking at a non running 2003 base model Mini that for sale locally. The owner replaced to fuel pump and it's getting gas up to the rail but it still won't start/run. He was able to get it run run briefly with starting fluid, so I'm suspecting that something is causing the injectors not to pulse. I don't have code reader yet, so what would be the most likely suspects?

Hello! Is it a Cooper or Cooper S? You need to plug into the DME and check for faults. There can be many reasons why it will not start. Codes will be your fastest and best bet when diagnosing the issue. Once you plug in, report back with the codes.
