Cowboy Boots - Who's got 'em - Show 'em.
I bought these pair of black Lucchese dress boots in '11.. Then I saw these online a year or so later and I was smitten.
These are made by Lucchese for women. I called Lucchese and asked if I had a pair of their boots sized to fit me at a dealer, designating a particular toe and heel, what would it cost me to have them make a pair of these. $2,000 ...direct sale. Ouch! And that was 5 years ago. But lately, I'm thinking more seriously about it. . My black ones: . . ![]() . . What I want: . ![]() . ![]() . ![]()

At that price I would fly to Texas, on a old cowboy boot thread here listed a shop that will custom make your boots fitted to your feet and any style/material.

Lucchese is the only way to go. I have several, but these beauties are my favorites:

Ha! A military friend of mine from New York called those toes...
"Puerto Rican fence climbers." . . Edit: I'd want a more square toe.

There are several custom boot makers in cow town part of Oklahoma City. My wife's cousin is a BIG guy and wears a size 16 boot. He comes down to a guy in the stockyards area that makes his boots. They are work boots, not cowboy boots.
I wore cowboy boots for a couple of years when I was younger. I noticed at the end of the day I was thrilled to get them off my foot. I went to "athletic" shoes and now walking shoes. I have a real wide foot and I wear a 10 EEEE shoe.

I used to bowl with a Rockabilly looking guy that had a pair of cowboy boots turned into bowling shoes.

Those black ones of mine are not that comfy. I bought them on sale...last ones...I needed a black dress boot. Not a good buy, after all.

You aren't thinking of Nudie Cohen are you? He made suits, not sure about boots.

I got tired of dirty socks about 6 years ago and went to the cowboy style.
These are my second pair of Ariats. Only a couple months old. My old pair are as soft as slippers but holes in them. I have two pair of Lucchesi for when I need to look respectable. One brown and one black. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
