Thank you all for your kind and generous welcome back to the OT fold. I am truly humbled by your sentiments.
After a near 4 decade career in law where I strove to give back to clients I served, somewhat surprised my legacy is my tale of 74 hours in a New Orleans jail. I wonder if it will take its place in the annals of history beside MLK's letter from a jail cell? LOL I'll have to locate that old thread to see where I left off. But I fear my ending won't compare with your speculation as to the outcome!

I stayed out of this group of forums for quite some time and had to ask the same question about changes. Seems pretty much the same ol', same ol' to me. Of course there are lots of new names but not so much in OT. Some have moved on. But I think you can see by the comments that most are around even if not that active.

I would not mind hearing the rest but I'm pretty sure that you spent the entire weekend in jail before being arraigned and got charged w everything you already listed in the story. I'd be curious what you were able to get it pleaded down to, it's a pretty aggravated DUI story considering that no one was injured by your actions.
