What a great group of people

I have fulfilled a childhood dream and purchased my first Porsche. I have been spending my time the last few days in the 911 Tech section and the people have been amazing.

No attitudes, or usual internet snark, just cool and helpful. It has really added to the ownership of a car I've lusted after for nearly 40 years.

Just wanted to throw out a big thank you to the community for being so good.

This is a cool place to peruse and certainly very helpful in maintaining cool machines.

If I may make a suggestion, you might want to update your profile with your car info and possibly where you are located. There are differences over the years of course so the model/yr helps. As for location, there can be benefits as well.

Welcome, the community is here to be of assistance.

Welcome to the community! A lot of helpful folks here. Just remember to try and search first because most of the questions you'll have on the car have been asked at least once here. You'll find out how truly special this place is when you get reputable engine builders as well as CIS and Motronic gurus replying to your questions.

Not only tech questions answered by a vast number of savvy and generous folks, but also if you ever wanted to know how long some members can hold their breath.

Well you do have a Mustang.

Fuchs are 7's and 8's but still pretty cool IMO. The whole car is just a slight bit tatty, looks great but you get that 'i'm ready for a fight' feel from it. Outlaw might be a bit over done, but I don't care its cool

Welcome.

31 posts and you are already down here with the rest off the dungeon dwellers?

That must be one well set up car if you got through the tech forum that fast.

The 911 is one of the very few cars where the rubber bumper version is prettier to my eye than the earlier non rubber bumper variant.

I would want to backdate a Corvette.

I would want to backdate a MG.

I would want to back date a 914.

The 911, nope.
