Outdoor propane burner
This thing is the snizzle. As a result of a post by Berretta (I think) I got a wok last week, and bought this burner too. It works great with the wok, but it is a fantastic burner for the canner. It takes over half an hour to bring 4 1/2 gallons of water to a boil on the stovetop, and all that heat is coming into the house. This burner will boil the water in 15 minutes - maybe less if I get the courage to turn it all the way up. All the heat stays outside and it frees up a ton of space on the cooktop.
![]() It cost about $80 on Amazon ![]() Today's product - 10 pints of salsa and 11 half pints of ketchup. Tomorrow will be corn salsa and bread and butter pickles.

I have a Camp Cheif Expedition 3X that works awesome too. The only downside is that it is bulky and heavy, but I keep it in the camper.
Also for turkey and boiling peanuts I have a King Cooker. The only downside to it is the timed regulator..... which I could swap out if I was inclined. |

The propane set up makes great French fries. The mess, smell and grease vapors stay outside. Double frying is a snap because the oil stays hot as opposed to doing a small batch on the stove.

I use a cajun cooker to heat the pressure cooker when canning salmon. And as mentioned earlier, it works great for wort also.

That’s just the way I assembled it. I’ll turn the burner 90 degrees now that see how inconvenient this way is.
