That's it! I'm out! No Veyron for me

Maintenance is too expensive.

$9,000 for a disc?

Most things were covered by the extended warranty.

The extended warranty is $59,000 (LMP-1 policy?).

Car only had 3,100 miles and it already needed a brake job?!?!

$84k Veyron Invoice

You you don't buy them because they are cheap to run silly. You buy them for the excellent mileage.

Try 38,000.00 for a set of tires - EVERY FEW THOUSAND MILES and yes I’m serious. No, I don’t know from experience.

Here's a video on how to do a Veyron oil change. It looks like a PITA, but seems DIYable if you've got a lift and lots of time. The dealer price seems ridiculous.

BTW, it's got many drain plugs. Who knew? I guess that's part of what makes it exotic.

Veyron!? You've got to be kidding me. That's so 2010. I got rid of mine as soon as my Chiron was delivered.

The Veyron is a technological marvel, but I don't have any desire to own one.

I'd love a McLaren F1. I'd love a Koenigsegg (probably any of them). I'd love a Carrera GT or maybe a 918. The list of cars that I'd get BEFORE I got a Veyron is long. Hell, probably even a Ford GT would come first.

The new C8 Corvette looks nice to me--particularly after they switch over to the flat-plane crankshaft V8s.
