Autonation...

Should have stuck with dealers that have an actual owners name, but at the time it was the easiest option for me.

I am contemplating a new or slightly used 1-ton dually truck and was originally leaning towards Mopar due to their lower initial cost and performance specs. I'm starting to think that the smarter move would be to spend a little more for a Ford, (latest gen). Even if they all have the same issues, (and they don't), it's just so much nicer of a truck to live with for a zillion miles.

Sometimes the cheapest ain't the best choice.

I have read some good reviews on those. I was looking at the nDash when I was contemplating a tuner that kept the DEF system. Ultimately mine runs so well and does everything I need that I could not justify it. Now I did just custom order some new adjustable shocks for it though so in 6-8 weeks I will see how that changes the ride.

Denis, I think they made some changes after '15 to the trucks. Are you thinking '15+ or older?

There is a big price differential, that would give me pause too. In a super competitive market where one model is way cheaper than the others, it makes you wonder how they did it.

For sure. With the Ford, you can see the multi-billions they spent on developing the new model and wonder how they can sell them for less than a McLaren.

Because they couldn't sell them for that price...

I'm not sure what y'all will consider a cheap price for one of these diesel trucks?
40k bare bone base model too cheap for you? Fully loaded 80k sticker ain't unheard of across all brands. Double that and you have yourself a brand new class 8 truck....

Yeah, I think they are all priced similarly equipped the same.
