Any idea what this disclaimer is about?

High Volume Oil Pumps will destroy your engine. It will twist your cam bearing within 1,000 miles. If your valve train is making noise, you might want to drain your oil and zink.

Zink additives are not your friend. Do not use synthetic oil. We use 5/30 CASTRO OIL only.

Nice looking vehicles I had a 74 with a 302, only had 8,000 miles on it when I bought it
wish I still owned it today had lots of fun in it.
The original purchaser ordered it with the single fuel tank which only held 8 gallons and with a 302 under the hood that did not give you a big cruising range....

At my first job when I was 16 the boss tossed me his key to run an errand in his new Bronco. This was back in the early 1970s. It had a three on the tree and I had never driven one before. It was easy to adapt my shifting from my VW Bug to the Bronco.

It had a little bitty gas tank and he warned me to fill it up at the gas station a block away before parking in in our lot when I cam back. He put a 2 inch tow ball on the front bumper to make it easier to move his boat. I always remember the ball on the front bumper. I had never seen that before, but hey, I was only 16.

First of all, what a great buy. I have never owned one but I am a fan, molested or not.

Well done.

I wish Ford would get the 2020 reset right, but they won't.

I want something like this (I would buy it):

But this is more likely:

No matter. My son has the 2013 FJ and I get to drive my daughters 2006 FJ for a few years as she lives the NYC dream.

I have used Clifford, they are good.

.
My neighbor has had an old Bronco sitting in his back yard since I moved here in '10.
It's not in great shape, but the V-8 has been rebuilt...an automatic trans.
It's all there, just a bit ratty.
I expressed interest in it a few years back...but never made an offer.
A couple of months ago, his niece decided she wanted it and we all installed a new U joint. I drove it up/down the street and the rig felt solid.
As far as I know, it was a gift to her.
She drove around the neighborhood for a half hour or so...come back and said that at a stop light some guy offered her $15,000 for it.

Yummie !!!
.
Read an article about 30 years ago telling about what kind of vehicles self-made (successful) men drive.
The preferred rig was a Ford Bronco. I was surprised.
.
An ex g/f chose her husbands Bronco over several of his cars...302...auto.

Wow definitely wouldn't have thought it would be a bronco either!

But this is more likely:

I've read it will be a 4-door, no 2-door offered.

Ford learned from Jeep.

The 4 door Unlimited quickly started outselling the two-door model and may have saved the Wrangler as we know it. Allen said...............

Had we not started making the four-door Wrangler … we would have transferred that vehicle to a less capable platform or closed down that side of it altogether. The four door saved the Wrangler.

The numbers bear Allen out. Before the Jeep JK Wrangler was introduced in 2007, the TJ Wrangler peaked at sales of 80,000. Last year, Jeep sold nearly 200,000 JK Wranglers. The growth of the Wrangler propelled sales of other Jeep models as well, in spite of ongoing quality issues with the Grand Cherokee and those middling Consumer Reports scores.
Cannot buy a Ranger without an extended cab either.

The Ranger will be available with one wheelbase and two cab/bed configurations: extended cab with a longer bed and a crew cab with a short bed.

Sold it for $5,000 and he bought a f150 a couple of years later.

[emoji50] 5k dude lol
