That's awesome, I'm totally jealous.

6 cylinder, with automatic transmission?

Please report back on the performance and the by the seat fun factor.

So many of the half-cabs I have been browsing for are 6-cylinder as they were the entry budget model.

Kind of a turn off if you really want a V8 in there.

Very nice, this brings back memories. Once upon a time I had a 68 Bronco Sport w/ 289. I really liked the "3 on the tree". Does yours have vacuum or electric wipers?

I agree with losing the bug guard. Kind of like the roof rack. I took mine places .... What a great 4x4!

Gave mine up when loading 2 kids in cars seats got to be hassle with the Bronco

I rolled up after work and my neighbor had one of these parked outside the garage. They were kicking back in the garage drinking beer and watching sports. I walk over and asked who's car (truck?) it was and complimented the guy. It had a 289 badge and he said he takes it to car shows and gets lots of attention.

What a great unit! Always liked those myself.

I didn't know they came with an automatic transmission. Is that preferred for what you're using her for? I'm interested in this one aspect, thanks.

Congrats, Fly!
