Not even this...

The Turning Stone Classic is being live streamed. Top pool players. Alas, "Upstate Al", who does top level pool streams, moved to Facebook this year.

Nope..not even this will get me to sign up for an anal probe by the Zuck...

ZING!!!

I was actually big into darts a long time ago, apparently it is huge back in the UK. Some guys making six figures playing professionally.

I was pretty good back in the day, only played for beer but many nights I only bought my first beer and the rest were provided by the competition.

Um...you don't have to have a facebook account to see things on Facebook...

https://www.facebook.com/UpStateAL/videos/2200840573259319/

Can you see that video?

Nope..all I get is: "You must log in to continue."

No biggie... if any of the matches are really good, they'll show on youtube in 6-8 months.. But, it's live streaming I liked, not recorded videos.

That has not been my experience for a few years at least.

It very much depends on the level of security given to any given page.
Lots of businesses are fully open, so you can look at (at least some) of their page with no Facebook credentials at all.
Some require that you have an account, but you don't need to "friend" them. Some require that you "friend" them, and that is when they can see you back.

I went to Chrome's "incognito" mode and was able to watch that video, I thought that it would not know about my facebook account, maybe that video was changed between me looking at it and you looking at it.

Oh, you *can* be on Facebook and not let the Interwebs know everything about you. I have an account with no personal information except my name, no connections, no friends, no pictures, no nothing. You can't find me, Facebook cannot connect me to anyone else, but I can view a few more pages that interest me.
