He,he rather my daughters are ever so slightly getting around to the idea that dad is not a complete dork. But its their fathers favorite waste of time so they will have to deal with it.

There is just no activity that fills me with the level of passion and joy than improvisational music. Just pic up what ever instrument you like and full throttle. No rehearsal, no rules, no matter if its sometimes off beat or tune. Just feel that rythm let it all hang out.

The reason that I on occassion record it is not primarily because of the music as such, as it frequently sounds awful (at least the next day..). No, its to relive the extatic feeling of the moment. And very often a good laugh.

My daughters claim I really must have balls the size of melons, serving it out publically on youtube.

I think it's fantastic! And the dancing is priceless.

All I have to do to get the kids' eyes rolling is pick up my guitar and start singing. They run around closing the windows before the neighbors hear.

"Dance like nobody's watching"....and then it's critiqued by some unfunky, no dancing fool (like me) on the Internet . I have been to a few Mardi Gras...thankfully all before cell phone cameras though

He, he yes the degree of beauty in a guy´s dancing and picking lies for sure in the eye and ear of the beholder. I am lucky to have a very well insulated basement where I have installed my gear.
