Iggy Pop and Darlene - separated at birth!

Finished season 4. Too short. Gonna be a long wait. Marty sure has a lot of patience with everything and everyone. Loved it

Wish BCS would resume. It was going so good

A930Rocket 01-23-2022 03:43 PM

Watched all of BB…. It was good.

I watched most of BCS, but got bored after several seasons.

I’ll have to try Ozark.

My problem is at some point, usually near the ends of their third season, it is no longer possible to deny they've become soap operas. It even happened to Longmire.

Ozark, Cartel, Startup. All soaps after three-four seasons.

You're not wrong... At some point you really need to suspend disbelief (Oh all of a sudden you own a a casino and 5 businesses and you made your money how?).. it's well acted though...

Finished up Ozark last night. Did not end like I expected. Sort of ended like the Sopranos.

ramonesfreak 05-04-2022 03:37 AM

Same here. Not happy with ending at all

CurtEgerer 05-04-2022 05:28 AM

Don't want to give too much away here for those who haven't finished it yet, but the rollover scene was weird. No reason for it, other than to make you think that this is how it all ends. Completely gratuitous. Problem was: it was too early in the episode for the end.

And it’s supposedly set in northern VA (where I came from). Lots of inconsistencies including one reference to the “McLean police department”. McLean doesn’t have its own police, it’s Fairfax County. Watched many episodes but every time it looked like he would have a chance to get his family safe, some other bad thing happened. Got tired of the never ending catastrophes.

The significance of the rollover was in my opinion, the point at which the kids, especially the son had a change of heart about his mother/family. At that point, he decided to be a team player and do what is necessary for survival of the family

why they flashed to it in episode 1, not sure except to keep you wondering throughout the season

CurtEgerer 05-04-2022 09:19 AM

Good point. Had not thought of it that way. But then, the final scene, we have no idea who was shot .... :)

Didn’t realize Part 2 was out. Will watch it tonight.

dmcummins 05-05-2022 08:01 AM

I’m another that is not happy with the ending.

We were out on Lake Lanier Saturday and drove by the Marty Byrde house. Here is pic from the boat. It is a private residence and they have a no trespassing in the back yard.

Cool. :D

I wonder if the owners rue the day they agreed to lease the house for the series.

Cool picture.

Deschodt 08-15-2022 08:18 AM

Dunno.. 4 years rental fee, added celebrity factor, potential good resale... Maybe they should charge for tours ;-)

Could not agree more. That's why I like Fargo, as it is different every season. This last one with Chris Rock, Jason Schwartzman, and the looney Jessie Buckley was the best yet.

Granted, some episodes take off on a tangent that usually has little to do with the main story, but overall, it has been great. I was hooked after the first season, with the calm but ice cold bad guy played by Billy Bob Thornton:

Posted by Cinnabon :D

Also read today that a sequel involving Kim Wexler is in discussions.
