Help getting a DAS bar shipped
I had a member here contact me about a DAS bar, he had it removed from the car and we seem to be stuck in the shipping department. UPS I think it was quoted him 350, plus pick up and packaging....
any other options? I hate to loose out on the bar but I think that unless I happen across a local bar I am kinda screwed. |

Ship it Greyhound, as long as there is a terminal nearby it's easy and super cheap. I've shipped a roll bar and a race seat via Greyhound freight because UPS/Fedex were crazy expensive.

Yep, Greyhound. I've shipped over a dozen bumpers and at least as many seats via them. Most I ever paid was $95 for a bumper to NYC. Sure it may take a few days because it's on standby but never had a piece get lost or damaged.

I don't think the DAS bar breaks down at all... I can't imagine that would fit.

Is it a full cage or just a bar? And how did they get it shipped to them? If it's a full cage it would have to go freight which isn't cheap.

Sent a DAS bar via Greyhound, no issues.
