Too big to fail

It probably took him longer to set all that up that it would have to set them properly the first time. Still pretty neat though

Yeah, I can't imagine that you could properly mortar them down with that technique. Way cool to watch though

The bigger question is: did he make his neighbor pay for it?

Why would he, he already has a wall 3 ft. away from this one! Seems like a waste of time and money to build a wall next to another one that is already there.

Needs to be longer

I suppose there's nothing you can do if your neighbor builds an ugly fence other than build your own, more to your taste.
On the way to one of my vendors there's a big sign in the front yard of a house, "Good neighbors don't build 8 ft fences" with a construction crew at the neighbor's house putting up an 8 foot fence.

That was clever. The shaking camera had me ready to puke, I had to skip from the first 30 seconds to the end. Did I miss anything?

That was so cool. Especially the second bit. Mind you I do have a bit of motion sickness from watching it
![]() Instead of building an expensive wall I'd plant a row of bamboo. In three months time you wouldn't even be able to see the neighbors granny looking fence. AND they would have the pleasure of your bamboo springing up around their section. |

Pretty cool.
I’m still trying to figure out how they lay flat on the way back. |

I wonder how many takes it took to get this to happen 'just right'. As to the camera work...wonder how much better it would have been with a drone? Someone mention Bamboo? (from a job I did earlier this year - pics taken today) ![]()

Until the very last brick they laid at an angle and took up slightly more space on the wall than if they had been flat. Ie if they were 12 inch blocks they would be maybe 12 1/4 from upper left edge to lower right edge when resting at an angle. The bricks were spaced exactly 12 inches apart so there was no room for them to lay flat as long as the all were propped at an angle. When the last one fell it fell flat so it only took up only 12 inches, with more space, the second from last could then lay flat and now take up only 12 inches, which allowed the 3rd from last to fall flat, etc. etc. etc.

That was cool.
I see only a blank main page for the website. Is there a secret to it? Anything more or invite only thing?
