Firefox problems anyone?
I was finally forced to upgrade above version 57 after "download flash video" stopped working with all websites and crashes started occurring regularly.
Firefox above version 57 is an entirely different animal. -Many older apps no longer work. -They profess blocking fake news, as in websites are completely blocked off. -The Pocket App is advertised to "help guide and suggest" browsing habits. No thanks I didn't want to be steered, But eventually I had to use the new software. Late last night, the browser repeatedly crashed and had to be"refreshed" (which unknown to me was a complete upgrade). Not sure what happened. Today, brand new Firefox 62.0 will crash every time I try to save or upload something. Also when changing the "save to" location. Anybody else having current Firefox problems?

Works great for me other than a couple issues. It is a huge resource hog, doesn't save my tabs when I close and opens up to a session that is several days old. When opening a page you can start reading and scrolling and after you are partway through it starts formatting the page again so it starts jumping all around. It caches sites that aren't supposed to be. Half the time it doesn't format the page correctly even after all the jerking around. The development apps don't work any more and overall it really sucks. Other than that it is OK.

Try an old version of a Linux O.S. : Firefox and ALL the add-ons will fly as long as you don't let updates (O.S. , Firefox , etc..).
