Apple customer service.

ROCKS!

I’m typing this on my spanking new replacement iPad Pro. After my two week wilderness hiatus; I came home to a dead pad. It would not turn on.

Before that, I felt like I had an unusually short battery life. I took it in. They tried everything I tried at home.

He took it back behind that big silver door and came back with mine and a new one. He said,” I hope you backed everything up”

it was seamless. He even said mine was out of warranty. (Just barely).

I love those guys.

We went in to wipe my old iphone 5s so my son could use it when he goes to the basketball court by himself or walking the dog etc...
They were not so interested in helping when there wasn't a way to make additional money on an old product.
They did help though. Eventually.

I get a call from a police officer one day, says he picked up my son's iphone (had my number, pics of family, emails, etc on it) as part of a criminal bust.

Except my son's phone was never stolen.

Apparently, he swapped it at Apple store(warranty exchange) and someone from the store has sticky fingers.....

Same story here. Old iPad Air battery went bad. Got on the phone with Apple support, sent in iPad. I got a new one back, no it was not backed up ! I did get a new iPad Air though.

I’ve been using apples since the 80s. The physical quality of the machines has varied widely. And the operating system has been getting on my nerves lately. But the customer service has always been stellar.

When I pay premium price for a product I expect great customer service.

As in you get better service at a Hilton than at a motel 6.

I will say my wife gets good support for her iPhone she switched to about a year ago, I'm am android guy and know nothing about the iPhone so I am no longer her tech support... and I'm okay with that. :D

Samsung/T-Mobile service has been good, I'm pretty happy with them.

However my next computer may be an Apple seeing a Microsoft now wants you to 'rent' their software.

ha

try to get a wiring diagram for any apple unit

even something as simple as a power supply wire's voltage

all they can do is replace very over priced parts as whole units
they have no idea how to test parts
