Any interest in going rifle/pistol/shotgun shooting this weekend in SoCal

Oaktree Gun Club doesn't have any big events this weekend. Its in Santa Clarita, CA off the I-5. Any interest in shooting? I have a 22 mossburg that I rescued and need to test fire, along with a 30-30 Marlin, and several assorted handguns. They offer skeet, trap, bow and arrow and pistol.

Post, and/or PM me if interested. I live 3 miles from Oak Tree and will provide burgers and such at lunch if you want to join us at my crib.

Are you allowed to shoot real bullets in California?

I know that the cost per shot is going up in the Peoples Republic, with the latest round of ammo laws.

Not when you've been hoarding boxes and boxes of bullets, brass, primers, and powder

Most of what I own is verboten in the land of fruit and nuts.... at the very least I'd have to find some sub-10 round magazines for a few things to pass muster.

The sub-10's mags are an easy fix, and some security guy at the range might notice you're popping off a few too many between loads. I doubt very seriously though if anybody in authority at a range is going to inspect ammo.

Oh, lets make the same offer for folks over here in Florida...

I can take guests to the range I'm a member of at $10 per head, I limit myself to 2 or 3 guests at once simply because I have to act as range officer, etc. for my guests.

So Byron, consider yourself invited.

Might even be able to get my tax stamp collecting buddy to come and bring his M16 and 1919a4

Or, we could meet up at the Lake City public/free range, if it ever re-opens. There shuold've been a broadcast this evening on one of the Jax channels (CBS maybe?) about the mis-management and issues around the LC range....
