The Rules
https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/controlling-woman-lists-22-things-13378213
Basic Story. A guy bought a used car and found this in the car. It was already underlined and annotated. For your viewing pleasure, I present: THE RULES! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1539019902.jpg |
The best comment I saw on this is that it looks like the list of a woman who got cheated on by her boyfriend and then chose to stay with him.
When I was an intern at a different company, there was one guy at the office who was notorious for his paranoid/controlling wife. In order to attend an after-work happy hour, he'd have to go to the hardware store over lunch, buy something, then call his wife late in the day and explain that he needed to swing by the hardware store on the way home. She would give him a time that he would have to arrive home by. He would then go to the happy hour, drink one beer very quickly, and proceed home. I later found out that he had slept with his wife's sister shortly before his wedding. They still decided to get married. At that point I no longer felt sorry for him as they'd both gone into the marriage anyway.... |
Once worked at a pizza place for a few years with Pat as a manager. He was the most straight-line nicest guy to strangers you would ever meet. No BS about him. Get it done with a smile. No Schadenfreude. No gossip. Nothing. Dependable and giving. I helped him move furniture into a trailer home he'd bought with his girlfriend who was preggo (probably with another man's child). She was on his case like a rivet. Hours and hours of criticizing him right in front of me about everything under the sun. I almost told her to stfu but couldn't. Pat either became a serial killer, offed himself, or is in a psych ward right now I imagine. No other way a man's brain could take that.

This really pissed-off my buddy, since about 6PM I would say "Gotta Go" and I would down the rest of my beer in one gulp. |
Yep, my one rule is that I don't put up with BS like this.
When I was dating, behavior like this by a woman led to instant dumping by me. I wasn't going to put up with it and this is one of the behaviors that I didn't expect to change or be a single occurrence once it became apparent. I've been with my wife for 20 years and never cheated on her. Now, she may tell me that I have to tell her where I am, but I am never forbidden from doing anything. The one and only time I have really put my foot down and told her not to do something was when she wanted to volunteer at a church in a bad neighborhood after work. There'd been a few shootings recently at the convenience store directly across the street and she would be there after dark twice a week. This had absolutely nothing to do with trust and had 100% to do with her safety. |
Any guy who would put up with that deserves it.

I did not get married until late in life. I was in my late 30s I dated a lot of women over the many years. I met some interesting chicks, to some real terrors. I rejected them all until I finally met my wife. One of my former co-workers had a wife that was crazy controlling. He would leave their house in the morning on the way to work. Traffic can vary a lot in his area. His wife would be calling about the time she figured he should be there. She would call 8 or 10 times per day. I would never put up with that. |
Is she hot though? You know, just wondering where she is on the hot-crazy matrix. She is crazy for sure.

BEFORE we got married I told my wife I would still be looking at other women. I would not be drooling and wolf whistling or acting stupid, but my brain is hard wired to look at pretty women. Back when I was 14 and saw the hot girls from age 18 to 25 I decided they were the hottest. I still think that, but now I can't do anything but look from a distance. |

I notice this is BF/GF. I'd walk away, she can't deal with the past whatever it may be. Better solo. |
maybe she lets him do it in her butt.
i quit reading after rule #3. if i found that note before i bought the car, i would have walked..i wouldnt want any of his mojo around me. |
Whats the harm in asking?

I'd rather be a lonely hermit, strung-out on p@rnhub, than to ever put up with that BS! No thanks! Someone else can eat the korn out her chit, it won't be me!:D:D

I’d punt on first down.
Can’t be real. |

This reminds me of the true story of a contract that a husband required his wife to sign and fulfill. I tried a Google search and couldn't find it - but in short, it specified what she could and could not wear in public, how often she had to shower and shave, and how often she had to fulfill the wifely obligations. He did specify exceptions to the sex rules if she was on her period. I think it was on that web site that specializes on mug shots and quirky legal related stories?
Edit - remembered it was on Smoking Gun and found it with a search: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/bizarre/sicko-marriage-contract-one-ages |
If he's not to ask for head, how is he supposed to communicate his desire? Pantomime?

Some men are like hardwood floors.
Lay them right once, and you can walk on them forever. |
Folks, this is a classic "chicken vs. the egg" argument.
We see a big annoying pesky list of demands brought on the guy. Probably because he got caught cheating on her. Yet I bet it was her big annoying pesky personality that led him to cheat on her in the first place. They are a perfect couple. I'll bet a whole dollar on this. |
Tyler, Noah Devon, Josh, the rule makers ex BF's?
|
I had a former co-worker with wife imposed rules that were fairly similar, turns out it's because he did in fact cheat on his wife in the past. He was a total tool and I felt zero pity for him. Though it was funny listening to him try to explain why, in a sales role, he couldn't travel with women.

It's no way to live. Cheating is dirty, to be sure, but if there's no trust or true forgiveness as a result, then it's over...

Just remembered another story:
A current coworker of mine used to have to pass when we went to Hooter's for lunch. (Now he just doesn't go out for lunch with us, period.) His wife wouldn't let him go. The reason? When they hooked up in college, they BOTH were in other relationships, but she still calls him a "cheater". They've been married over 20 years at this point. You'd think she'd let up. I look at the situation and this is my thought: They were both cheaters, he only ever cheated WITH her. They both ended the other relationships immediately. It was a long time ago and in college. Neither has ever cheated since. |

Fundamentally, the person you are "dating" is NOT YOUR WIFE/HUSBAND. If someone wants to keep it between WIFE/HUSBAND, yet failed to do so when dating eachother, then that plants the seeds of raging life long jealousy. A lot of folks don't seem to get this, but I see it played out with people I knew what was up when they were dating. |

unless there is a page two, or an addendum. she didnt say it's a rule!! go time. hahhaha.. |

I’m skeptical that it’s real. If it is the guy should run.
|
My wife once told me, "I don't care where you get your appetite, just be sure to eat at home" It's worked for 27 years.
|
I’m surprised this has reached page 2 without anyone mentioning this list being part of a Dom - Slave fetish!
If think that’s probably the most likely explanation and if not God help him! |

Alright, who broke into my house and took that off my fridge? My wife is blaming me.
