He won the F3 championship it appears the apple doesn't fall from the tree

I can't imagine being 19 and having the racing future in your own hands . He seems level headed with driving skills . I'd like to see him get one more year of experience before heading to F1 . Any bets he replaces Vettel in 2020 ?

I think Ferrari has already said a seat is open for him when he is ready (or something to that effect).

Yes the last half of his season was fire.

And yes, Ferrari said to come see them when he wants to make the jump. I suspect that is why Kimi is at Sauber now, I suspect Mick will be at Sauber in 2020.

For the record, Prema (his team) has won every GP3 championship for the past several years and dominate year in year out. Most of the recent crop of F1 drivers came from that team... All this proves is he beat his teammate, he was always going to beat the other teams unless he was terrible...

Now that's not to say he's not a future star. Just saying we do not know yet. Just that he's not bad... It would be cool if he made it...
