He won the F3 championship it appears the apple doesn't fall from the tree

Yes the last half of his season was fire.
And yes, Ferrari said to come see them when he wants to make the jump. I suspect that is why Kimi is at Sauber now, I suspect Mick will be at Sauber in 2020.

For the record, Prema (his team) has won every GP3 championship for the past several years and dominate year in year out. Most of the recent crop of F1 drivers came from that team... All this proves is he beat his teammate, he was always going to beat the other teams unless he was terrible...
Now that's not to say he's not a future star. Just saying we do not know yet. Just that he's not bad... It would be cool if he made it... |
