Glue a kitten to a road? Somebody really is sick

A sad story with a lucky and happy ending.

A line from American Grafitti comes to mind..."Tie him to the car and drag him."

Seriously..a sick bastard out there. I've heard that many serial killers begin with animal torture...

Not looking even if it turned OK. Why is this on YT to begin with?

when Jim Jones (Guyana) was a kid he killed cats and dogs, just so he could preside over the funerals.

Hopefully whoever did that to the cat will meet a similar fate.

I felt the same way, Zeke, until an overwhelming feeling of rage and disgust overcame me and I just had to know everything came out o.k. Turns out it's only on YouTube because it is a news story, not some sick bastard filming his misdeeds.

So, no, you don't have to watch it. Unless you want to see a really cute 5 week old kitten and the big hearted man who stopped to peel her feet off the road. The kitten is o.k., the guy is a hero in my book, and it looks like they will live happily ever after, together.

So, yeah, what started out as a horrible story that would destroy one's faith in humanity, turned out in the end to restore one's faith in the basic goodness of most of us.

There is still an unspeakable cretin roaming around out there somewhere. Maybe someday he'll get caught or get his in some other way. I'm a big believer in karma, or what goes around comes around. He won't escape his fate. I take some measure of comfort in that. It would be nice to see when it actually catches up with him, though.

Looks like I picked a wrong topic heading. In my defense, I did say happy ending..

I had a black kitty when I was a kid. One day it got out, and somehow made it to a bad part of town where it was found by animal control doused in gasoline...
He made it, but barely.

Absolutely true... This happened in the Anita Cobby case.

Three of the five men convicted were brothers and it was proven that they tortured and killed animals.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Anita_Cobby

IMO some people are hardwired this way... and there's only one solution.

I'm not a big fan of human beings. Sorry and I know there are exceptions but I've buried too many animals who were hit by vehicles driven by humans who didn't give two chits about anything other than themselves.

I didn't click on the link either. Thank you to the kind-hearted rescuer.

love you Baz..i really do.

but statements like this are ridiculous. i love human beings. i love being human.

half of that story is about the cat. the other half of that story is about an awesome human being that step up and did the right thing.

are there some chitheads on this planet? sure..there are way more empathetic people, we out-number the idiots by a long shot. i have hope for humanity.

sorry, but you paint with way too broad of a stroke, bud.

i'm glad "sticky" is okay and safe. she will grow up and look just like my cat. gray tabbies are fantastic. my favorite, if you want something super friendly. almost too friendly.

i would have named the cat, ELMER.

I know huh? People suck more than anybody.

Sorry vash, but I'm kinda leaning towards agreeing with baz on this one.

If an advanced species of aliens discovered us they'd prolly think our race is made up of evil parasites that needed to be eradicated like a disease.

its tough to get glue to stick to asphalt.

i'm awful with glue. but holding a squirming kitten on all fours while the glue sets. i'm having troubles imagining how that would work.

I thought the same thing. It sounds like something teenage boys would do.

I think they said contact cement. Sick bastard(s) just put a big blob on the street, let it dry, then a blob on each paw. You would only have to hold the kitten and keep it from licking its paws for a few minutes.

So I wonder how much contact cement it would take to glue their balls to a railroad track. Preferably an electrified one.

Mom said as a children, her brother would hang her cats from trees. He's had MS for about 30 years now and is still a prick.
